Captain Vineyards also functions as a Micro Crush  for other small local growers. If you are a local grower and would like to make wine out of your grapes, we can assist you with everything from destemming to capping and labeling.  You decide upon your level of involvement: some clients visit and actually prune, thin, tuck, and harvest grapes; others like to get involved in the wine-making process and barrel tasting only!

If you intend to sell your wine under your own label:

• We help you gain the Federal Certificate of label Approval (COLA) from the Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
• We are experts in the field and as part of our service, work to ensure labels are properly submitted and approved.

Strict government regulations are followed on the front and back labels, size of typeface, placement and relationship of "warning" statement, etc.
