Started our harvest on Thursday with limited number of our family, friends and members to collect our Pinot Noir, beautiful clusters, very nice aroma and perfect sugar level. Started at 3:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and finalized it with a wonderful BBQ celebrating the 1450 Lbs.
Friday again, we were at it, this time we harvested the Cabernet Sauvignon, starting at 7:00 A.M. We harvested 1077 Lbs. and crushed. our intern, a friend grower and susan were harvesting while Sal, was crushing. Done around noon time, again, we celebrated with a hefty lunch and wine.
Saturday, Petite Sirah was to be harvested, we had an amazing number of people who showed interest in participating in this annual event. We harvested All Petite Sirah before noon time. The BBQ was ready to celebrate every single person who participated and enjoyed this fun, outdoor event. amazing 5000 Lbs. were harvested & crushed that day!!
